The Boy Scouts of America have announced that they will change their name to 'Scouting America' next year to highlight their commitment to inclusion. The US media reported it. The change will come into force on February 8, 2025, the day of the organization's 115th anniversary. “This is a natural evolution to ensure that all young Americans feel welcomed and recognized,” said Roger A. Krone, president and CEO of the Boy Scouts of America, noting that the rebranding will not change the mission to prepare «young people to make ethical and moral choices based on scout principles. America's values are scouting values.”
