A fire of vast proportions endangered houses and residents of the village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio. The stake affected the hill that climbs the village from the navy. From the afternoon until the evening the languages of fire created great apprehension.
Due to the fire that hit the territory in the last hours, the “enchanted village” event scheduled for this evening in the historic center of Fiumefreddo Bruzio was postponed to a date to be allocated.
“The fire – explains from the Municipality – caused widespread disservices, ash deposits throughout the historic center and a persistent blanket of smoke that does not guarantee the necessary conditions of safety and health for the serene performance of the initiative”.
