Festive atmosphere and much emotion for the first City Council of the Romeo era in Vibo Valentia. Many citizens wanted to attend the first session of the civic assembly: a Council decidedly renewed compared to the past with many female presences. The Pd councilor elected president of the assembly Antonio Iannellofirst of the elected members of the center-left majority. The historic representative of the Triparni fraction did not overcome the obstacle of the first three votes (2/3 were needed), but was elected in the fourth vote with 21 votes (a compact majority).
The first session was chaired by the senior Councilor Giuseppe Cutrullà. The new mayor Enzo Romeo he swore wearing the tricolor sash with the eight assessors at his side. The figure of the super technician at the Budget is still missing. And this is the news of the day, together with the fact that, as was predictable, there are at least two oppositions in Palazzo Luigi Razza: the representatives of Forza Italia and those elected in the center coalition with Frank Muzzopappa.
