Vibo, farmers and hauliers protesting: fuel stations run out. Queues and inconveniences in the city

First the long queues of cars, then the “Fuel Out” signs. It is a morning of inconvenience in Vibo Valentia and in the hamlets, where the farmers’ protest in Vibo Marina, which began yesterday morning, has effectively blocked the transport of tankers heading to the depots and, in a cascade, has started to create difficulties in the service stations scattered throughout the municipal area.

A protest that continues to the bitter end and is now starting to produce concrete effects for motorists too. Some service stations already last night, but most from the early hours of the morning began to “gasp” due to the progressive reduction in diesel and petrol stocks, without the possibility of receiving the usual supplies. The first signs signaling that fuel was running out appeared around 10 am, especially in the distributors of large oil companies. The queues, initially concentrated in front of the pumps which were still operational, gradually moved towards the so-called white pumps.
