«Instead of deciding to go to the Prefecture (the place appointed to deal with an issue in which the body has no decision-making power) and have an understanding – he says – I found a rubber wall in the position of the group leader of Forza Italia, who did not intend to ignore the request for the inclusion of an item on the agenda. Postponing would have meant arriving in the courtroom prepared and discussing it in a politically calm manner after having acquired all the information. Why refuse to meet the Prefect before the council discussion? Why refuse to meet him with the municipal administration?
