The Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Messina returns to the area with a new initiative dedicated to the protection of eye health. Thursday 5 November, from 10am at 4pm:30, the association’s mobile ophthalmic unit will be stationed at the Tremestieri Shopping Center to offer eye checks completely free and open to all citizens. The objective of the local UICI section is to raise awareness among the population of the risks of visual pathologies and promote prevention as a fundamental tool to combat their appearance.
All interested parties will be able to present themselves directly on site, where Dr. Giulia Romano from the UICI eye clinic will welcome them to carry out the exams. «Once again – declares the president of the UICI of Messina, Costantino Mollica – we are grateful to the management of the Tremestieri Shopping Center for the collaboration and the space they make available to us».
