The blue cruster Daniele Lavia, injured during a training with the national team, was discharged this morning from the Borgo Trento hospital in Verona after surgery to the right hand. The operation, performed yesterday, was perfectly successful and the athlete spent the night without complications.
The Italian Volleyball Federation expressed gratitude to doctors Corain and Giardini, together with the medical and nursing staff of the Veronese hospital, for the timeliness and professionalism shown.
