The rossoblù add another point to their ranking. After the 2-2 draw in Piacenza, the 1-1 draw with Palermo allows Cosenza to move away from Spezia and Bari. However, the Silans are hooked by Ternana. Viali's team also fell behind at the “Marulla” and then managed to respond but the victory continued to elude.
News. Cosenza becomes dangerous in the 25th minute. The post saves Pigliacelli from the free kick taken by Calò. The ball, after hitting the inside of the upright, crosses the goal and is lost laterally.
Palermo's reply is entrusted to Di Francesco. The attacking midfielder gets close to Ceccaroni's cross but sends it high. The match is in its best phase. And in the 28th minute Canotto also tries but Pigliacelli takes the ball out. The Rosanero equalized the score at the posts in the 35th minute when, following Di Francesco's cross, Mancuso turned with first intention, sending the ball against the crossbar of Micai's goal.
Mignani's team broke the deadlock in the 44th minute. The Palermitans exploit the midfield laterals to break through the Cosenza wall. Lund gets past Venturi on the left, Buttaro on the other side anticipates Frabotta by depositing it into the net.
The Sicilians started in a determined manner in the second half. The rossoblù become particularly imprecise but then in the 17th minute they equalize from the spot with Tutino, who converts the penalty awarded for a foul by Ceccaroni against him.
Pushed by the public, the Wolves restart quickly with Canotto (20'): Rossano's diagonal shot ends wide. Then, a carom in the area risks being costly but on Meroni's clearance, Soleri's touch misses the target. In the end, the result no longer changes.
