The soldiers of the Carabinieri station Lamezia Terme Sambiasethey arrested him red-handed for the crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealinga thirty-seven year old from Lamezia Terme.
The Carabinieri, during a house search at the man’s home, have approximately 30 grams of cocaine, small quantities of hashish and marijuana, as well as cutting material, weight and packaging of the substance were found. What was found was seized pending further analysis. The arrested person was then taken to the Catanzaro District Prison.
In the validation hearing, the investigating judge at the Court of Lamezia Terme, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor’s Office that coordinates the investigations, validated the arrest by subjecting the suspect to the precautionary measure of the obligation to reside in the municipality of residence and to report to the judicial police.
