After Sofia Goggia’s success in yesterday’s downhill, Italy with Federica Brignone also won the CDM super-G in Cortina d’Ampezzo. Behind her the great Swiss rival Lara Gut-Behrami and the other Swiss Corinne Suter. For Brignone it is the fourth victory of the season and the 31st in her career – increasingly alone as the most successful Italian ever with only Alberto Tomba ahead of her at 50 – and the consolidation, after the third place in the Cortina downhill, of first in the general classification with 639 points. For Italy there is also Elena Curtoni’s 4th place. However, Sofia Goggia, 7/a, was not perfect.
