The territorial control action signed by the local police of Reggio Calabria continues unabated. In the last 48 hours, agents led by Commander Salvatore Zucco have reported five people as part of an intense activity aimed at protecting public property and urban safety.
In detail, the monitoring services made it possible to identify four individuals responsible for the illegal occupation of three public residential buildings owned by the Municipality. Having verified the complete absence of suitable qualifications to reside in the properties, all four were referred to the Judicial Authority for the crime of aggravated illegal occupation.
At the same time, the Building Police Unit surprised and reported a citizen who was carrying out renovation and expansion interventions on a pre-existing building in the total absence of the permits or authorizations required by urban planning legislation.
On the front of the fight against urban decay and public safety, the balance of the last two days is enriched with the issuing of three urban Daspo, notified for conduct linked to disorderly drunkenness, begging and solicitation.
The operation falls within the framework of the extraordinary checks arranged for the protection of the city’s heritage and the territory, which complement the daily work of the Local Police in the sectors of road traffic, commercial police and public transport.
