An important job opportunity for the young Calabrians comes from the last decree law on the public administration approved in the Council of Ministers. Among the folds of the provision there is in fact a measure that allows regions, provinces, metropolitan cities and local authorities to hire, such as officials, graduates of ITS Academy. Young people will be able to participate in competitions for officials and be hired with a 3 -year contract. To access the role, they will have to obtain the degree, also thanks to the “PA 110 & Lode” program promoted by the Department of Public Function, and receive a positive evaluation of the service provided. «The goal – as the minister had to underline Paolo Zangrillo – It is to attract the new generations to the public sector and, at the same time, to equip the administrations of qualified technical staff ».
The Higher Technical Institutes (ITS) offer non -university tertiary training courses in response to the demand for the companies of new and high technical and technological skills. They are built through shared and participatory design between companies, universities and research centers, secondary institutes, local authorities, higher training entities and associations of the world of work. They access the routes, after selection, young people in possession of a upper secondary education diploma and those who, in possession of a professional diploma achieved with four -year courses of professional education and training (IFP), they participated in an IFTS path of annual duration.
