A big fire broke out in the early afternoon in Lamezia Terme Sudclose to the state road 280 of the two seas, Rotoli-Palazzo-Frasso area. According to what has been learned, the flames developed inside and outside a shed of the “Ecologia Oggi” company which is interested in waste collection. On the spot teams of the Fire Brigade of Lamezia and Catanzaro intervened with Autobotti. Also present were carabinieri, police and local police to establish the exact dynamic. However, according to what emerged from a first reconstruction of the incident, it seems that the fire developed outside where an abusive landfill insists and then spread within the company. At the moment, however, no hypothesis is excluded. The residents of the area were invited to keep the windows closed and avoid going out.
