A circumstance confirmed in the second appointment of the season, in the legendary Trento-Bondone, the so-called “University of uphill races”, the longest in Europe. In this test the twenty -five year old pilot has shown his proverbial fame, staring at the best group time card in Saturday tests. There were therefore all the conditions to get on the top step of the podium. But the unexpected was hidden around the corner. A bad accident closed the curtain of the race. Accident which, despite the extent, has not compromised the aspirations and competitiveness of the Cosenza pilot. In the third appointment of the season, Paolino Teodori Cup, played in Ascoli Piceno, Mondino returned to the philosophy of the race, bringing home a 4th place. A fairly demanding race, but essential to find the feeling after the accident. On the weekend he will be called to give his best in the home race where he will have to confirm, if there is still a need, his skills as a sprinter.
