An operation conducted by the State Police led toarrest of a 42 -year -old man, found in possession of a large quantity of cocaine. The blitz took place in recent days, when the agents of the Public Security Commissioner of Gioia Tauro performed a search inside a company based in Rosarno.
During the inspection, also extended to the garden adjacent to the structurethe policemen identified a statue with an ingenious opening and closing mechanism. Inside the artifact, 30 kilograms of cocaine were hidden, Packaged and presumably ready to be placed on the market.
The searches then continued in nearby homes, where the agents found further material used for the packaging and conservation of the amazing substance, as well as one cash sum of 25,050 eurosconsidered the proceeds of the drug dealing activity.
At the disposal of the public prosecutor on duty at the Prosecutor of the Republic of Palmi, the man was transferred to the district house of the same city, where he remains available to the judicial authority.
