The Reggio Calabria Chamber of Commerce, through its special company in.form.a. and as part of the activities provided by the PID – Digital business point, it is pleased to announce the opening of the “Call for innovation prizes 2025“.
This initiative, in collaboration with the Municipality of Reggio Calabria as part of the RC 1.1.3.1.A project – Start up and SME support, proposes to financially enhancing and supporting the micro, small and medium -sized enterprises of the metropolitan territory of Reggio Calabria which invest in strengthening competitiveness and economic growth, proposing innovative products or services in terms of digital and/or ecological transformation.
The announcement provides for the assignment of:
• 1 cash prize worth € 10,000.00
• A maximum number of 3 special mentions “Reggio Meet”, consisting of vouchers worth € 5,000.00 each.
The company initiatives admissible to the prize must have been created starting from 1 January 2025 and present a strong innovative content, with particular reference to the adoption and/or implementation of technologies in line with national and regional strategies regarding double transition: digital and ecological.
Companies based on or operating unit in the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria, active, can participate in order with the registration in the Register of Companies of the Reggio Calabria Chamber of Commerce, with the payment of the annual chamber law and with contributory obligations. They must also not be in one of the reasons for exclusion provided for by art. 94 paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree 31/3/2023 n. 36.
For the attribution of the special mention by the Municipality of Reggio Calabria, companies must not carry out primary production of agricultural products, fishing and aquaculture (except for specific exceptions) and, if located in the municipality of Reggio Calabria, must be in compliance with the payment of municipal taxes.
Applications for participation must be submitted by 30 September 2025.

A special evaluation technical committee will evaluate the applications submitted on the basis of the criteria and related weighting indices explicit in the announcement, decreeing the winning companies of the cash prize and/or mentions “Reggio Meet”.
