It is the outcome of the appeal process “The Keys”, born from an investigation by the DDA of Catanzaro on an alleged drug trafficking between Soverato, Guardavalle, Montepaone, Davoli and Catanzaro, with branches in the province of Reggio Calabria.
The Court of Appeal of Catanzaro, chaired by Alessandro Bravin (in Latter Maria Rosaria Di Girolamo and Assunta Maiore), confirmed the convictions already inflicted on Raffaele Campaign (Guardavalle), 13 years and 4 months; Angelo Gagliardi, called “Ud Diavulu” (Guardavalle), 14 years and 6 months; Cosimo Gagliardi (Guardavalle), 8 years, 5 months and 10 days; Domenico Geracano (Soverato), 5 years, 8 months and 20 days; Anthony Lo Piccolo (Davoli), 3 years, 9 months, 10 days and 13,200 euros of fine; Luigi Origlia (Guardavalle), 2 years and 6,000 euros of fine; Giuseppe Ritano (Guardavalle), 14 years old; Marco Ussia (Guardavalle), 8 years and 4 months; Nicola Voci (Montepaone), 8 years, 2 months and 10 days.
Penis reduced on appeal for Francesco Cosentino (Guardavalle), 7 years old, 9 months and 10 days; Shara Cuoci (Soverato), 3 years, 4 months and 12,200 euros of fine; Giulio Lo Piccolo (Davoli), 2 years, 9 months and 11,675 euros of fine; Marco Maugeri (Catanzaro), 4 years, 5 months and 10 days; Gianluca Menniti (Guardavalle), 6 years, 4 months and 20 days; Salvo Gregorio Mirarchi (Montepaone), 8 years, 7 months and 20 days; Saverio Mirarchi (Montepaone), 4 years, 5 months and 10 days; Giuseppe Francesco Russo (Montepaone), 4 years, 5 months and 10 days; Vincenzo Voci (Frankfurt), with revocation of the precautionary measure. For Rocco Colubriale (Soverato), the Court accepted the concordat by reducing the sentence to 9 years compared to the 13 years and 9 months imposed at first instance. The Court of Appeal ordered the immediate liberation of Gianluca Menniti, and Domenico Geracano, defended by the lawyer Salvatore Perri.
