It took seven degrees of judgment, between appeals and counter -appeal, to establish the forfeiture of Mayor of Platì for Rosario Sergiwhich after obtaining an overwhelming electoral victory in September 2020 with 78% of preferences, had to bend to the “Severino law” referred to in the request for forfeiture formulated by the Prefecture of Reggio Calabria.
The administrative affair that concerns Rosario Sergi dates back to 2016 when the city council, elected with about 80% of the votes, lasted following the resignation of the majority of the Directors.
