According to the ranking Censis of Italian universities 2025-2026, the University Magna Graecia is positioned in the penultimate place among the average state universities. To this ranking, however, is added the ranking of the teaching of three -year degrees, the single cycle courses and the biennial master’s degrees in consideration of the progression of the career of students and international relations.
As regards the biennial degrees, In the economic field, the UMG stands in the last place with 70 pointsin the medical and health and pharmaceutical one is in fourteenth place with 81 points behind Naples Parthenope and in front of Messina, while in the psychological CDL it is in eleventh place with 78.5 points, in front of Frederick II of Naples.
With regard to the three-year degrees, in the agricultural-farm and veterinary sector as well as in the motor and sports sciences the university is penultimate, in the legal one it is placed in fifteenth place obtaining a score of 80.5. Instead, in the medical-health and pharmaceutical field it is in thirtieth position with 72 points, while in the psychological one it is in eighteenth place with 73.5 points. After that, in the economic, engineering, political-social and communication sphere, it slips at the bottom of the ranking.
