The Review Court cancels Domenico Sergi’s arrest, among the suspects of the maxi anti -mafia operation “Millennium”. The suspect, defended by the lawyer Marco Gemelli flanked by lawyers Michele Sergi and Emanuela Rocco, was accused of an association aimed at drug trafficking aggravated by the mafia method, and 49 distinct episodes of drug trafficking. The restrictive order is located in an investigation that involved almost a hundred people between Calabria, Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, with the seizure of companies, current and immobile accounts for millions of euros. The investigation hardly hit some joints of the Calabrian ‘Ndrangheta, including the powerful’ edge of the Agresta and the Barbarian of Platì. At the hearing, the public prosecutor had requested the measure. The hearing lasted for about two hours, during which the defense articulated a technical defense with documentary production. The Review College accepted the defense arguments in full, having the cancellation of the precautionary order and the immediate release of Sergi.
