A rare and imposing specimen of giant squid, weight of 17 kilograms, was captured in the deep waters off the coast of Bocale, in the territory of Reggio Calabria.
The company was carried out by two expert fishermen and bolenne fans of depth, Andrea Squillace and Claudio Blasimmemembers of the Vermecane Fishing Club of Lazzaro.
The capture took place about 450 meters deep, on a backdrop that reaches 900 meters, making the event even more exceptional. An episode that testifies to the wealth and biodiversity of our sea, but also the passion and competence of those who live it every day.
