Austria and Germany are ready to receive the Tenorm with and without asbestos coming from the reclamation of the landfill front of the sea former phosphotec-Farina Trappeto which is part of the Sin di Crotone. But first it is necessary that Eni Rewind makes further insights on the risks related to the disposal abroad of radioactive waste present in the former industrial area. This can be summarized the outcome of the research that the Society of Eni, owner contaminated sites, has carried out between Italy and Europe to identify plants capable of hosting 160 thousand tons of Tenorm slag, of which 112 thousand tons of Tenorm with asbestos and 48 thousand of Tenorm without asbestos, which are stored in the sea facing the sea of the ex Fifotec plant.
