As part of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Lamezia Terme, the military of the Guardia di Finanza carried out two distinct preventive seizure decrees against the legal representative of a trucking company operating in the Lametine territory, investigated for embezzlement.
The investigative activities, conducted by the mobile nucleus and by the judicial police section of the Guardia di Finanza of Lamezia Terme, arose from two complaints presented at the Lametine prosecutor from a company with registered office in Turin, owner of the means.
According to what emerged from the investigations, The Calabrian company would have entered into sixteen financial lease contracts for as many heavy vehicles, without ever paying the fees due. Not only that: at the end of the contracts, the means would not have been returned to the legitimate ownerthus configuring a criminally relevant conduct.
The financiers proceeded to the seizure of the 16 industrial vehicles, who were entrusted to a person appointed by the competent judge in custody. The investigative activity has made it possible to re -reconstruct the dynamics of undue appropriation in a precise way and to intervene to protect the heritage of the damaged Turin society.
