It will perhaps be for the Maggi, whose images scattered in the historic center create a magical atmosphere, or it will be thanks to music, universal language that knows how to touch the hearts, but the now traditional stage of the Peperoncino Jazz Festival in the historic center of San Filo, strongly desired by the mayor Linda Cribari and built in joint venture with the nights of the Magare, has recorded a great success of the public thanks to the skill of one of the most well -known ambassadors of jazz jazz. Italian, the Torinese trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso.
Thanks to the summer breeze and a band of talented musicians – the trio of the Neapolitan drummer Elio Coppola with Bruno Montrone on the piano and Tommaso Scannapieco to the double bass – Bosso enchanted those present by combining technique, expressiveness and originality, even without overlooking the performances of the other musicians on the stage. The trumpeter, who boasts national and international collaborations with the greatest musicians, was introduced by the artistic director of Pjf Sergio Gimigliano and the mayor of San Filo, who at the end of the concert both paid homage to a painting signed by the artist Geppino Rende.
The Summer Session of the Peperoncino Jazz Festival, from the program so rich and interesting as few can boast, continues on August 19 in Cetraro, at Palazzo del Throne, with Roberto Musolino Duet, to continue in the days following San Nicola Arcella and San Lucido, 20 and 21 with Mafalda Minnozzi, and still Paola, Cirella, Crotone, Isola Capo Rizzuto, Diamante and Praia in the sea, bringing the great international music to Calabria. A traveling quality music review that has been involving more than thirty local municipalities for 24 years, strengthening the link between territorial identities, culture and sustainable tourism.
