The divers of the regional nucleus of the Calabria firefighters, in service at the Command of Reggio Calabria, saved a man in difficulty in the waters in front of the Arena della Strait. The episode took place this morning during a training dive.
The support team on the ground with driving tasks noticed a man, of robust build, who after diving into the sea, was caught ill. The batter remained to float on the belly down with the submerged face, unable to turn to breathe.
Realizing the dangerous situation, the divers with driving tasks promptly dived into the water to recover the man and bring it back to the shore. The unfortunate, who at the time of the rescue was conscious, received the first treatments from the firefighters staff pending the arrival of the health personnel of Suem 118, who then took him on for further investigations.
