The volume was published in recent days “when three popes came to Calabria” (ed. Instant, laurus necklace), which magnificently intertwines faith, chronicle and history.
A new work by Don Giovanni Scarpino on the study of events, of events, in this case to be delivered to history such as the arrival in Calabria, between 1984 and 2014, of St. John Paolo Il, Benedict XVI and Pope Francis.

In the writing of Scarpino, in addition to the predominant religious culture and the effective language of the journalist, there is the formation of the historian fueled since the first years of life, at home, in Seatale, in close contact with the late parent, great scholar of history and researcher, to whom not surprisingly the priest dedicates the book: “To my dear dad, Michele Scarpino, who has transmitted faith, culture and values”. The president of the Order of Journalists of Calabria, lawyer Giuseppe Soluri, having previewed the book, hopes that the volume of Don Giovanni Scarpino will be presented at the highest levels and disclosed on a carpet, not only in Calabria. The same hope externalized by the free union Italian writers Calabria section for voice by Luigi Stanizzi.
