A stoic Dorothea Wierer is fifth in the 12.5 km mass start in Anterselva valid for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games. The 35-year-old from Brunico, in the last race of her career, puts together a great performance on skis and misses the medals by a handful of seconds. French double with Oceane Michelon (37’18″1) gold ahead of Julia Simon (+6″6). Surprise third place for the Czech Tereza Vobornikova (+7″4). Fourth for the Swede Anna Magnusson (+26″6) ahead of Wierer, 30 seconds behind Michelon. Four shooting errors for Lisa Vittozzi, who finished 18th at 1’43″5 from the top.
