In recent days, thanks to the coordination and direction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Castrovillari, directed by the chief prosecutor Alessandro D’Alessio, following investigative information activities resulting from the intensification of territorial control services in the province, personnel of the Flying Squad of Cosenza and of the Castrovillari police station, carried out a Judicial Police activity aimed at repressing drug dealing.
Specifically, staff from the aforementioned offices carried out a search at some public housing buildings in the Doria district, obtaining a positive result. In fact, with the contribution of the anti-drug dog unit of the State Police, the officers found narcotic substances such as heroin and cocaine, hidden inside some ravines of the courtyard of the aforementioned blocks, for a total weight of 60 grams, already divided into numerous doses and ready to be sold. Judicial Police activity continues to identify those responsible and the supply channels.
