The trial of the former commander and the twelve penitentiary non-commissioned officers and agents serving at the “San Pietro” prison, protagonists – according to the reconstruction and the prosecution system of the Prosecutor’s Office – of the afternoon of violence against a rebel prisoner, the Neapolitan Alessio Peluso, will start again from the testimony of the former deputy commander of the Penitentiary Police, Sergio Floresta. Unrelated to the affair (he was not on duty on the day of the attack), as deputy commander he knew everything about “San Pietro” perfectly: the rules of daily life, the dynamics that marked relations between the prison police officers and the inmates, the environmental context in which the attack took place, and the beating, the heart of the accusation and the hearing being completed in Court.
