There are two candidates, both expressions of the centre-right, for the presidency of the Province of Crotone where voting will take place on March 29th also for the renewal of the council. Five lists of candidates were presented today at the end of the deadline. At the starting line Antonio Ammirati, mayor of Cotronei, and Umberto Lorecchio, mayor of Pallagorio. The first is officially supported by the centre-right parties who preferred him to Lorecchio, an expression of Noi Moderati but which also hopes for the support of a large part of centre-left administrators. Also because the centre-left parties have not presented either a presidential candidate or their own list for the provincial council. The mayor of Cotronei, Antonio Ammirati, is therefore supported by Forza Italia, by Fratelli d’Italia with a list renamed ‘Identity and territory’, by the Crescere movement led by the mayor of Crotone Vincenzo Voce and by ‘Idea Comune’, a list headed by the regional councilor Sergio Ferrari. The current mayor of Pallagorio, Umberto Lorecchio, is supported by administrators of various parties, including Noi Moderati, who joined the ‘Future Province’ list.
