Cosenza works in the wake of continuity

Buscè works on the path of continuity. After losing the certainties accumulated previously at the beginning of 2026, the Neapolitan coach rearranged his eleven, managing to find new balances and tactical guarantees. The last six games have allowed Cosenza to regain share in the standings, so much so that the objective in this final part of the season could become that of chasing Catania, who are in decline and only five points away. The winter transfer market has brought havoc to the Sila locker room, including transfer rumours, the classic bad moods accompanied by “stomach aches” for some, departures and arrivals. A tangle of elements that changed the physiognomy of the group, which returned to being a “pine cone” once the phase of greatest commotion was over.
The locker room also managed to put this turmoil behind them. Recovering calm, confidence and developing renewed understandings. Two months later, Buscè also gave the sensation of having restored the tactical “guidelines”. Now the coach no longer wants to lose sight of the plan and on Sunday, for the first time since the season began, he repeated the same eleven. Before the match against Altamura, it had never happened that Cosenza took the field twice with the exact same formation. It curiously happened in the two closest games of the year, less than three days apart. A case that confirms the Neapolitan coach’s desire to no longer alter the automatic mechanisms.
Despite this, however, on Saturday he will be forced to make at least one substitution because in the away match against Casarano, he will not be able to count on Alessandro Caporale, disqualified following his fifth yellow card. This will involve the entry of one of Ferrara and D’Orazio on the left wing. The former got a few minutes but hasn’t started since January 5th (internal knockout with Monopoli). Captain Bruzio hasn’t seen the pitch for a month, when he accumulated about a quarter of an hour against Cerignola (last starter on 7 February against Giugliano).
