Biagio Faragalli immediately took on the role of president of the Province. The mayor of Montalto Uffugo, elected by Forza Italia (he beat the centre-left led by the tenant of Palazzo dei Bruzi, Franz Caruso) but supported by the entire centre-right coalition in the recent takeover in Piazza 15 Marzo, just after the proclamation of the territorial representatives who will sit on the benches of the Council, met the entire assembly, majority and opposition, setting up a speech based on institutional collaboration and in this sense he would have received the openness of all the forces policies, not only those of the area, obviously, but also those of the centre-left, reiterating a concept expressed the day after the victory at the polls: «This will be a wonderful experience, to be faced together with the whole team».
In short, Faragalli has in mind to relaunch the institution, understand its problems and plan the future, with the aim of providing the answers that the administered community expects, through concrete action in the sectors that remain the responsibility of the Provinces, namely Roads, the Environment and School Buildings. The first objectives have already been outlined, but the Budget and Dup must be approved immediately (by March 31st), with respect to which Faragalli does not intend to prevaricate, so much so that he has called the meeting for next Wednesday, whose agenda also includes the validation of those elected.
