A severe blow to the black market in weapons was dealt in the early hours of today by the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Reggio Calabria. The Fiamme Gialle have carried out a precautionary custody order against three individuals, accused in various capacities of possession and sale of weapons of war, common and clandestine weapons.
Operation concentrated in the Gioia Tauro plain area
The operation was strategically concentrated in the Piana di Gioia Tauro area, hitting the interests of one of the most influential criminal cartels in the area. The technical details and extent of the seizure will be illustrated during the press conference scheduled for 9.30 am at the provincial command headquarters in via Enotria, in the presence of the investigators.
