The Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Minister for Regional Affairs, Roberto Calderoli, and with the favorable opinion of the Ministers of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti and Health Minister Orazio Schillaci, resolved to revoke the health commissionership of the Calabria Region. This is what we read in the CDM’s final statement.

Ferro: “Another commitment kept by President Meloni”
«The decision of the Council of Ministers to revoke the health commissioner in Calabria represents a historic step and, above all, another commitment maintained by President Giorgia Meloni, who announced the start of this process from the stage in Lamezia Terme alongside President Occhiuto. The exit from the commissionerate marks a decisive turning point: Calabria returns after 17 years to have full government ownership of its own healthcare and, with it, the opportunity to build a more efficient system better able to respond to the real needs of citizens. It is a result that rewards the work carried out in recent years and opens a new phase, in which responsibility and administrative capacity will have to translate into a healthcare system that finally lives up to the expectations of the Calabrians.” This is what the Hon. says. Wanda Ferro (Fdi), undersecretary of the Interior.
