As of April 2026, there are more than 3 million pensioners who choose to receive their pension payslip via email. INPS stated this in a statement, confirming the growing trust in digital tools and the effectiveness of the strategies adopted to simplify access to social security information.
In addition to sending via e-mail, there is widespread use of the online payslip consultation service, accessible through the institutional website.
During 2026, monthly accesses to the “Pension Payslip” online service exceeded 2 million. The numbers of accesses via the mobile application are even more significant, with an average of 3 million accesses, with peaks of over 4 million in January. Around the 20th of each month, together with the publication of the payslips for the following month, information is made available on the site with a summary of the main operations carried out for the single month.
The INPS intends to make the contents of the payslip increasingly clear, thanks to the progressive revision and simplification of the items used and the explanation of the various activities that affect the monthly amount (such as tax adjustments relating to Irpef or following the tax return made via form 730).
