Serious road accident in the early hours of today’s morning along State Road 106, near Strongoli Marina. The toll is three people injured, one of whom is in serious condition.
The alarm went off just before 8am. The Fire Brigade from the Cirò Marina detachment intervened on site and worked to secure the area and rescue those involved. In particular, they worked to extract an injured person from the sheet metal of the vehicle and subsequently entrust him to the 118 health personnel, who arranged for him to be transferred to an air ambulance.
The other people involved were transported by ambulance to a hospital.
Also present at the scene of the accident were the Carabinieri, the Traffic Police, Anas personnel and the 118 health workers, involved in managing the road system and carrying out useful investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
