A few micro landfills can still be seen in front of the fence that delimits the construction site of the Alarico Museum. But the piles of waste now seem like a distant memory after the reclamation of the area, preparatory to the start of work for the construction of an important project.

Among other things, the Museum is located near the confluence of the Crati and Busento rivers, a mythical and legendary place, where the burial of the Visigoth king together with his treasure is told.
