A few micro landfills can still be seen in front of the fence that delimits the construction site of the Alarico Museum. But the piles of waste now seem like a distant memory after the reclamation of the area, preparatory to the start of work for the construction of an important project.
Yes, because once built it will become one of the most attractive destinations from a tourist point of view, as well as giving a decisive boost to the relaunch of the historic centre, for which the municipal administration is implementing a series of initiatives designed precisely to revitalize the ancient village, net of the interventions included in the CIS (Institutional Development Contracts) and in the Urban Agenda.
Among other things, the Museum is located near the confluence of the Crati and Busento rivers, a mythical and legendary place, where the burial of the Visigoth king together with his treasure is told.
