From tomorrow the increases in bus tickets will come into force, with particularly significant increases on the routes most frequented by students, in particular the one between Quattromiglia and the University of Calabria. A measure that raised concerns and requests for clarification, leading a student delegation to ask for a direct discussion with the municipal administration of Rende.
The students were received by the Transport Councilor, Andrea Cuzzocrea, to whom they illustrated the difficulties that the price increases risk generating, especially for those coming from families with lower incomes. During the meeting, Cuzzocrea reiterated the Administration’s willingness to maintain a constant dialogue with the university community, proposing a stable discussion table every two or three months to monitor the progress of the service, collect reports and evaluate any corrective measures together.
