Busitalia, a Trenitalia company (FS Group), enriches its offer with two new night connections from Calabria to Umbria and Tuscany, both active starting from 1 June.

In detail, buses are scheduled every day between Crotone and Perugia with stops in Torre Melissa, Cirò Marina, Torretta di Crucoli, Cariati, Mandatoriccio, Marina di Pietrapaola, Marina di Calopezzati, Mirto, Rossano, Corigliano Calabro, Cantinella, Sibari, Spezzano Albanese and Rome. There will also be daily connections between Catanzaro and Siena with stops in Cosenza, Rende, Castrovillari, Lauria, Lagonegro, Sala Consilina, Eboli and Rome.

Furthermore, the new services integrate with Trenitalia’s railway offer, expanding the travel possibilities from Rome to Central and Northern Italy. The two connections are thus part of a broader project aimed at strengthening the integration between bus and train and enhancing the main interchange nodes, for the benefit of the territories and travellers.

The service will be carried out with latest generation buses, with the red Busitalia livery, designed to guarantee high standards of comfort, accessibility and safety even on medium and long distance journeys. The vehicles are equipped with reclining seats, information monitors, air conditioning systems, Wi-Fi, USB sockets, toilets and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Tickets can already be purchased on the Trenitalia and Busitalia websites, via the App, on board or in authorized sales points.
