«I’m happy after a complicated weekend, it wasn’t easy but the third lap was very good. This pole – Antonelli underlines on Sky – is dedicated to Alex Zanardi who is a friend of ours”.

Antonelli, fantastic to be on pole after a difficult Sprint

«It’s fantastic to be on pole after a difficult Sprint. Qualifying was very good, I wasn’t very enthusiastic about the first lap in Q3 but it was enough for pole. I hope that the good start comes tomorrow and I hope not to lose positions. We are trying to make the most of the machine’s performance.” These are the words of Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) after the pole position in the Miami Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2026 F1 World Championship.
