That this electoral campaign is the most heated ever, especially in terms of tone, is a common belief, supported by a large part of the city. Gaetano Sciacca, mayoral candidate of Rinascita Messina, guest on Friday evening at Scirocco (Lillo Valvieri should have also been there, but he declined the invitation), the Rtp talk hosted by Emilio Pintaldi also seems to agree: «The months preceding the elections are always heated, but this time there is more conflict.
