THE’ASP of Messina takes a decisive step in supporting families with children and young people affected by autism spectrum disorder. In implementation of the regional program, the company announced the establishment of a Company register open (without expiration) of structures and professionals specialized in the method ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis).
This initiative will allow the ASP to purchase services directly, guaranteeing specialized care to patients already in its care without burdening the parents’ wallets.
The key points of the project:

Freedom of choice: Families will be able to independently select, within the Register, the most suitable professional or structure for the therapeutic path.

Reduction of times: The primary objective is to eliminate waiting lists for day centers, offering immediate therapeutic responses.
Quality and Transparency: An evaluation commission made up of mental health and neuropsychiatry experts will monitor the correctness of the services provided by the third sector bodies.
Constant update: The list will be updated every three months to include new professionals and expand the offer.
