The bodies of the last two Italian divers who died while diving in the Maldives were recovered by the rescue team who dived just before 8am Italian time in the Vaavu atoll. The first, according to a note from the Farnesina, has already been lifted onto a support boat while the second is on the way up with a diver who is respecting the decompression stages. These are the bodies of Giorgia Sommacal, 23 years old, daughter of Monica Montefalcone and Muriel Oddenino, research fellow at the University of Genoa, originally from Puglia and resident in Poirino, in the Turin area, collaborator of Professor Montefalcone’s chair.
