Top Spin Messina keeps the race for the championship open and postpones any verdict until the decisive match. The Peloritan team in fact beat Bagnolese 3-1 in the return match of the final of the Italian table tennis championship, rebalancing the match and winning the right to play for the title in the last act of the series.
The decisive match will be played next Sunday at 6pm, once again in Mantua, where the two teams will once again face each other to award the tricolour.
Faso drags the people of Messina
The protagonist of Top Spin’s success was Danilo Faso, author of a precious brace that tilted the match in favor of the Peloritani. The third point was instead won by Stoyanov, thus completing the final 3-1 which allowed the team from Messina to equalize the score in the series.
Bagnolese was unable to close the game in front of their fans and will now have to face the decisive match against a Top Spin team who were encouraged by the success achieved in the return match.
The tricolor verdict on Sunday
Everything will therefore be decided in the match scheduled for Sunday at 6pm. The Italian title is up for grabs, with Top Spin Messina called upon to complete the comeback and Bagnolese determined to exploit the field factor to win the scudetto.
