If the post-vote analysis on Messina and other Sicilian municipalities was more in-depth, on the centers of the Ionian area the leader of South calls North and mayor of Taormina, Cateno De Luca, has not yet gone into detail. In the summary of the party’s elected representatives, the (registered) mayors of Alì Terme, Limina and Graniti were included, while in Giardini Naxos Salvo Puccio lost, in Malvagna the candidate Rita Mungiovino supported by South calls North did not make it and in Savoca the party did not take the field. The most disappointing result arrived in the Naxi town, where the “electoral machine” implemented with the three-list strategy to circumvent the majority system and try to gather greater consensus in support of Puccio was… overtaken by Agatino Bosco’s list.
«A strange electoral campaign was conducted – comments the party leader -. I’m sorry that Salvo Puccio paid the price, to whom I give a big round of applause.” A few words, the rest will be explained in a rally scheduled for tomorrow evening, at 7pm, in Piazza Abate Cacciola, during which the mayor of Taormina will make his analysis and focus on what he has defined as an “anti-De Luca syndrome”, also triggered by candidates from South Calls North, including Puccio.
