The electoral defeat in Giardini Naxos is heavy and unexpected for the South and the North. A week after the outcome of the vote which saw voters choose Agatino Bosco as mayor and assign Salvo Puccio the role of opponent, the party analyzed the result in Piazza Abate Cacciola, with quite a contradictory reasoning.
On the one hand, in fact, the leader Cateno De Luca stated that he respected the verdict of the sovereign people, but on the other he explained that he could not accept a result deriving from what he defined as an electoral campaign based only on “against him”.
