Hezbollah rejected the US-brokered ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel. In a statement, quoted by Sky News UK, the militant group said it had “officially informed Lebanese President Joseph Aoun of its rejection of the deal, insisting that any acceptable deal must begin with Israel’s complete withdrawal from all Lebanese territory.” Hezbollah also adds that it considers “the return of displaced people, reconstruction efforts and the release of Lebanese prisoners” as “essential conditions for any future agreement”.
