From house arrest to a temporary interdictory measure lasting six months. The Review Court has ordered the release of Giancarlo Cutrupi, the Municipality official involved in the investigation into the alleged bribe ring in the technical office of the “Major works and public works” sector of Palazzo San Giorgio.
The decision came in acceptance of the request presented by the defenders, the lawyers Alessandro Tamiro and Giuseppe Adornato.
A passage awaiting the developments of the investigation
The judicial matter is still in full evolution. The Review provision represents a technical step pending the definition of the procedure.
On this point, the defense highlighted that “the investigation papers would offer a different reading compared to the prosecution system, in particular on the alleged episode of the sum of money delivered to Cutrupi”.
