STATE POLICE: 23 MONITORING MEASURES ADOPTED BY THE QUARTER IN MAY
The crime prevention activity of the Messina Police Headquarters continues also in the month of May following the careful analysis, carried out by the Anti-Crime Division, of the phenomena of urban violence, disruption of public order and safety and illicit conduct by individuals deemed socially dangerous, against whom the following measures have been adopted:
DACUR (Prohibition of access to urban areas)
5 bans on access to urban areas were issued against as many individuals who had caused serious disturbances to public order and safety within or near commercial establishments and meeting places of the so-called. nightlife in the province of Messina.
• 2 Dacurs were adopted against subjects of foreign nationality, perpetrators of an attack which took place near a premises in central Via I Settembre. The two, after stealing a scooter from the victim, attacked her with kicks and punches. Same fate for another person who came to the victim’s aid. The attackers did not hesitate to use a cutting weapon and set a pitbull dog against the unfortunate men. Immediately identified and referred to the Judicial Authority by the Volante police, they are also recipients of this provision, therefore they were banned from accessing and staying in the immediate vicinity of the premises located in Via I Settembre, located in the places where the disturbances occurred, for 1 and 3 years respectively.
• Another 2 measures were adopted against citizens of foreign nationality, who, as an active part of a fight that broke out in the center of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, attacked the policemen of the local police station who intervened promptly, causing injuries. For them, in addition to the referral to the Judicial Authority for the crimes committed, the Police Commissioner has adopted a ban on access and parking in a series of public establishments near the site of the brawl, for a period of 1 and 2 years.
• 1 Dacur lasting one year was finally issued against a person who, impaired by excessive alcohol intake, created disorder and disturbance inside a premises in Milazzo, threatening the owner from whom he demanded the administration of spirits, also attacking the Carabinieri soldiers who intervened immediately on the spot, who referred him to the Judicial Authority for crimes of resistance and contempt of a public official.
DASPO. (Prohibition of access to sporting events)
5 Daspos were issued to 5 members of the Juve Stabia fans, twinned with those of Messina, who were part of around thirty people who came from Castellammare di Stabia to attend the “ACR Messina – Enna” match on 8 February, and entered the sports facility despite already being recipients of Daspos. A new ban on access to sporting events was adopted against them for a period of 5 years, aggravated by the requirement to show up for all football matches played by the “SS Juve Stabia” team in the offices of the Commissariat of Castellammare di Stabia during the first and second half of the match.
FVO (Obligatory registration form)
3 FVO measures were adopted with reference to various municipalities in the province of Messina, with a ban on returning to the same centers for a period of three years, two of which were issued against individuals who committed crimes of aggravated fraud with the “fake policeman” technique, the third against authors of crimes of resistance to a public official and in relation to weapons.
ORAL NOTICES
7 oral warnings were issued, ordering the interested party to behave in accordance with the law.
WARNINGS
3 warning measures were adopted against as many individuals who committed domestic violence.
Finally, three decrees were implemented for the application of SPECIAL PUBLIC SECURITY SURVEILLANCE with an obligation to stay (two for 2 years and one for 1 year), issued by the Court of Messina – Prevention Measures Section on the proposal of the Police Commissioner.
