Reggio Calabria does not yet have a council, but for the moment the mayor takes care of what needs to be done. This morning there was an inspection by the mayor of Sant’Agata and Granillo, documented by the very active social profiles of Francesco Cannizzaro. Precisely in the week in which the announcement of the arrival in the city of Claudio Lotito, new owner of the Amaranth club, is expected. There is a possibility that the first press conference will take place by the end of this week.
The news is that Armando Calveri, from Reggio and general secretary of Lazio, appears in the videos. Lotito’s most trusted man, he is originally from Campo Calabro and grew up as a manager in Reggina.
Work in progress at the Granillo and the Sant’Agata sports center
The obligation, however, is to welcome the new ownership well and this means making the structures owned by the Municipality and the Metropolitan City as usable as possible. The situation seems particularly complicated at Sant’Agata, where maintenance was not optimal after the end of the championship. Since this morning, however, it seems that some useful work has been underway to get the situation back on track, with particular reference to the playing fields and the general situation of the structure.
